Become part of the **Automated Business Solutions team** and contribute to the development and maintenance of non‑critical **internal enterprise web applications** that support business processes across the organization.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated **Django Developer** who enjoys building scalable, efficient, and user‑friendly web solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.

**Your future responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain Django‑based web applications, including greenfield solutions and major enhancements
- Optimize and automate business processes using Django
- Integrate Django solutions with other services
- Migrate and modernize existing solutions (e.g. from web2py or Access to Django)
- Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality and development efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders during testing and delivery
- Document solutions and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing
- Support and mentor junior developers

**Your key skills and experience:**

- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Django, including both backend and frontend development
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain a complete Django application from scratch, based on user requirements and/or by refactoring existing legacy applications
- Experience with data‑entry or booking‑style applications handling thousands of records
- Knowledge of deployment and production environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Ability to guide and support colleagues, perform code reviews, and consult on application design and implementation
- Ability to work with a limited toolset and within strict policies or constraints
- Proactive team player with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Fluent English (B2 level or higher)

**Nice to have:**

- Experience with VBA (e.g. Excel, Access)
- Experience with other Python‑based web frameworks (e.g. web2py)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with GitHub Copilot
- Experience with GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience in finance, banking, or insurance environments
